Director

Ms. Dykema is in her fourth year of teaching and first year as the Blue Angels Director. Ms. Dykema comes from Lake Worth ISD, where she started the district’s first dance program at both the middle school and high school level. Ms. Dykema graduated from Texas State University in 2020 with a BFA in dance Education. At Texas State, she was a member of Orchesis Dance Company and performed at many university events. Ms. Dykema began dancing at the age of 2, training in ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical dance. She won many state and national titles with her studio team. In high school, Ms. Dykema was a four-year member of the Timber Creek Sky Dancers, where she served as Lieutenant and 1st Lieutenant.  From 2018-2021 Ms. Dykema was a member of the Texas Rangers’ Six Shooters Dance Team, where she performed at every home Rangers game and community events. Ms. Dykema continues to work with teams across the state of Texas through Crowd Pleasers Dance Company. Ms. Dykema enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the lake, and reading in her free time.
