Gerald Muhammad, Ph.D.

Dr. Gerald Muhammad serves the students of Little Elm High School (LEHS) as their Assistant Principal.  Immediately before joining the LEHS team he served as the Assistant Director for Human Resources and Student Services.  Prior to joining the District in 2011, Dr. Muhammad obtained a wealth of educational experiences as he has worked at the elementary, middle and high school levels in various administrator and teaching positions in the following districts: Dallas ISD, Eagle Academy in Fort Worth, Irving ISD, and Grand Prairie ISD.  Some of his administrator experiences are as Assistant/Vice-Principal, Principal, and Special Education Director.  His classroom teaching experiences consists of the following: 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th science, special education inclusion and resource, and U.S. History. 

Dr. Muhammad earned his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration from Paul Quinn College, Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce, and his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas.  He has the following certifications: Superintendent, Principal, Special Education, English as a Second Language (ESL), and Professional Human Capital Leaders in Education (pHCLE).
