Note: To be eligible for free tuition at these schools, students must apply by the deadline, be admitted, and turn in all financial aid forms, including the FAFSA, by March or before. 

Houston Community College: Opportunity 14
Free tuition for eligible students. Apply early for consideration: money is first come, first serve. 

Lamar University: Lamar Promise Program
Free tuition and fees for students whose families earn $25,000 or less.

Midwestern State University: Mustang Guarantee
Free tuition for students whose families earn $65,000 or less.

Rice University
Free tuition for students whose families earn $130,000 or less. 

Sam Houston State University: Bearkat Promise
Free tuition for students whose families earn $40,000 or less.

Stephen F. Austin: Purple Promise Program
Free tuition and fees for students whose families earn $30,000 or less.

Tarleton State University: Texas Tuition Guarantee
Free tuition for students whose families earn $30,000 or less. 

Texas A&M: Aggie Assurance Program
Free tuition and fees for students whose families earn $60,000 or less. 

Texas State: Bobcat Promise
Free tuition and fees for students whose families earn $50,000 or less.

Texas Tech: Red Raider Guarantee
Free tuition and fees for students whose families earn $65,000 or less. 

University of Houston: Cougar Promise
Free tuition for students whose families earn $65,000 or less.

University of North Texas: Emerald Eagles Scholars
Free tuition and fees for students whose families earn $40,000 or less.

University of Texas Rio Grande Valley: Tuition Advantage
Free tuition for students whose families earn $95,000 or less.

University of Texas at Dallas
Free tuition for students whose families earn $25,000 or less per year.

University of Texas at San Antonio
Free tuition for students whose families earn $50,500 or less.

University of Texas at Austin
Free tuition for students who families earn $65,000 or less.
